AMCs (American Mathematics Competitions) are math competitions for junor high and high school students that determine the US
team for the International Mathematical Olympiad. There are three levels: AMC8 is for any student grade 8 and below; AMC10 is for
students in grades 10 and below; AMC12 is for students in grades 12 and below. They are intended for everyone from the average
student at a typical school who enjoys mathematics to the very best student at the most special school. These contests can spur
students' interest in math and develop their talent through solving more challenging problems of a different nature than those in
the school classes. High performance in AMC contests may contribute significantly to the success of students’ college application.

The AMC preparation course offered by
EasyThru Learning is designed purposely to help students to do well on the AMC 8/10/12
contests. Through a series of lectures, instructors will cover all concepts/topics likely to occur on the AMC exams and teach special
math skills required for contest-based problem solving. Quick problem solving strategies will also be emphasized in the classes since
the timing of the competitions is often limited. In addition, we will review sample questions drawn from previous years' contests as
well as a variety of carefully selected resources. Therefore, students will think and learn stuff outside the realm of their school
classrooms. The knowledge and skills developed through this course will be helpful not only for any math competitions, but also for
any comprehensive exams such as SAT, GMAT, GRE, or even college math classes. Students taking this course should be familiar
with elementary algebra concepts.
